The following is a short list of my personal recommendations for more information on Life Coaching, books that I have found very useful, and forthcoming events that might interest you.

Life Coaching and The Coaching Academy

If you would like more information on Life Coaching - or Life Coach Training - visit The Coaching Academy. Here you will find a wealth of information and additional resources. The Coaching Academy is Europe's largest coach training school. On this site, you will find information on the various means of obtaining formal coaching accreditation, course dates and all about Life Coaching in general.

Books

I have found two books to be particularly useful myself - "Be Your Own Life Coach" by Fiona Harrold and "Success Engineering" by Phil Gosling.

"Be Your Own Life Coach" is an incredibly inspiring 'do it yourself' coaching book. By working through the book, you will - as it says on the rear cover - find how to 'create the life you've always wanted', 'Build personal power and exude self-confidence', 'upgrade your self-worth', 'cultivate charisma and personal magnetism' and 'create great expectations for yourself and your life'. Highly recommended - available from W.H. Smith and most good bookshops.

"Success Engineering" is not just a good book - it is absolutely superb! Author Phil Gosling is a former physicist who is committed to the study of success and achievement. Some of Phil's ideas may not find favour with all coaches, but all have our own preferences. Personally I have found his methods to work wonders. "Success Engineering" is not just a book about motivation and goal setting, it is also an extremely good read! It is the sort of book that once started, is extremely difficult to put down - I know, I'm speaking from personal experience.

"Success Engineering" is not available in any book shop (as far as I know). It is an ebook, which means that it can only be ordered and downloaded over the internet. If you have ordered ebooks over the internet and have been disappointed to find that all you have purchased is a 10 page pamphlet, have no fears about "Success Engineering". It may be a ebook but you will actually receive an ebook that prints out to more than 80 pages of A4! - and everyone of them well worth reading again and again.
